Once upon a time (well, not too long ago), founder and cidermaker, Patrick decided to turn his passion for all things booze related into a business. Patrick was a well-travelled wine maker who found himself in the beautiful island of Tasmania, and he soon realised that Tasmania, with its lush apple orchards and pristine water, was the perfect place to make his dream a reality.

The cool climate and fertile soil of Tasmania provided the juiciest, most flavorful apples you can imagine, and he couldn't resist the temptation to turn them into something amazing.

Simple Cider was born out of a desire to create a cider that was, well, simple.

Alongside his wife Emilly, 4 kids and a community of supporters, Simple Cider has become an industry defining beverage and cultural hub for Hobart and Tasmania.
